PROGRAMS

The Rezilience Organization is a New Mexico based organization centering Native connections to people, land, art, culture and the environment. As an organization, our mission is to build community, embrace knowledge, inspire action and encourage resiliency for indigenous peoples to thrive. The P.L.A.C.E. Program offers a space for skill building, knowledge sharing and community engagement for Indigenous peoples and allies! Within many Indigenous communities, our cultures and core-values have been passed down through generations and promoted through ceremonies to maintain connection and understanding of our place in this world and realm. Our programs are constructed with consideration of these values and for the needs of our communities into the future. We construct our activities through culturally responsive methods and seek to embody the teachings of our peoples through every program.

The P.L.A.C.E. Program provides online content focused on the elements that make Native creativity, ingenuity and culture a healing force for all peoples as the world shifted dramatically to online working and learning. The program consists of three symbiotic components that include activities that support and compliment one other.

MORE PROGRAMS TO COME in 2022

I honestly just loved being able to connect with people interested in similar things! The speaker was SO informative, I absolutely LOVED the amount of in-depth knowledge and education shared.

I just thought that the presenter and your team did a get job creating a connection between the group even though it was virtual. There was still a very safe and inviting atmosphere, a trust was established. I was nervous before getting on, being a mixed person, if I would be accepted. I felt comfortable.

It was a beautiful, intimate space, I am honored to have attended as a guest!

OUR TEAM

REZILIENCE was founded in 2015 as a community collaboration to produce the festival, The REZILIENCE Indigenous Arts Experience. Since inception, this grass-roots organization has been lead by Indigenous people’s from various tribes and has grown in its ability to address the need for culturally-specific programming, knowledge dissemination and collective community building focused on indigenous peoples.
Now as a non-profit, The REZILIENCE Organization produces community based programming with national engagement. This new path forward seeks to support Indigenous community members, allies, culture bearers, knowledge holders, advocates and entities from various territories across Turtle Island, in building capacity for Indigenous communities through sharing knowledge and celebrating our peoples’ ability to grown and thrive.
